The choir she sang in was entered into singing competitions and performed in high school and community theatre. She then seeks revenge against her attackers. The film was directed by Steven R. Monroe was launched in October of 2010. Butler began shooting The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller set in Mallorca on November 11, 2011. The film was also scheduled for shooting at Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She became part of the independent feature Treachery starring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012. Butler also co-starred alongside Michael Welch in 2013's horror film The Demented.
