Jones is a champion of hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships in both 2003 and 2004. The track career after she completed her studies during 2005 Jones started to train hard to pursue an athletic career in track. That same year she took home in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track race as well as Heusden.

Brandt moved from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the at the end of her teenage years. Brandt was identified by local casting agencies she was offered the leading role of Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena.
