A winner of both the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after many years of hard work and an immense amount of patience. Jones was raised with the most difficult of lives being the daughter of a single mother who had five other children. Her mom lived in the roads and within the basement of a local church at times. Jones was forced to move to another school every throughout her high school years because of this nomadic existence. At Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones resided apart from her mother in order to pursue her passion for track events. Jones was part of different families in high school so she could be capable of focusing on her academics. Jones also performed as a cellist for the orchestra at school. In high school, she was awarded the Gatorade Athlete Of The Year Award for Iowa Track and Field. Jones became one of college's best hurdlers after entering. Jones was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. In addition, she was on the winning team for the 100-meter relay. Jones is a champion of hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships in both 2003 and 2004. The track career after she completed her studies during 2005 Jones started to train hard to pursue an athletic career in track. That same year she took home in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track race as well as Heusden.
Brandt moved from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the at the end of her teenage years. Brandt was identified by local casting agencies she was offered the leading role of Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her performance was a hit for both the audience and the producer Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. She was a part of the cult Netflix show Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes identified Lucifer in 2021 as the show with the most quantity of people who watched it on a binge. Brandt will be next seen with Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira and other Walking Dead cast members in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. Her other Netflix projects include the animated comedy Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan, Chris Meloni. This will premiere in the month of July 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is a talented New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire New Zealand family to Auckland in the year 1999. After just a couple of years working in retail her promotion was to the post of the IT Manager consultant. Lesley began modeling, after which she began appearing in commercials. She graduated with a major in acting in the year 2008. In 2009, she started studying in Meisner methods of study. Her first acting job was with the new Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the true story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teen hostage, and was later featured her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
