Julie M. Benz (born May 1, 1972) was an American actress best famous for her portrayal of Rita Bennett on Dexter for which she was awarded the 2006 Satellite Award for Best Actress as a Supporting Character in the form of a Series, Mini-Series as well as a Motion Picture Made for Television. She was a star of the TV show No Ordinary Family, which aired from May 13, to its end on May 13. Darla was one of her most well-known characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as Angel.
